Genevieve Cortese (* 8. January 1981 in San Francisco , California as Genevieve Nicole Cortese ) is an American actress Italian - Flemish - French descent.

Life and accomplishments

Genevieve Cortese was established in January 1981 in San Francisco in the US state of California was born. Before making her television debut as Kris Furillo , she was a stage actress. She has worked in the regional theater productions A Midsummer Night's Dream , One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest , Criminal Hearts and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat . Padalecki holds a "Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Drama" and a "Bachelor of Arts in English" from the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University .

She played the roles of Kris Furillo in the television series Wildfire and Ruby in the television series Supernatural .

She has a younger sister and two younger brothers. Her nickname is "Gen" or "Genny". Genevieve is her real first name, although she preferred the name "Jennifer" in her youth. Padalecki, who lives in Austin , Texas , has been married to actor Jared Padalecki since February 27, 2010 and has also adopted his name. The couple have two sons (* 2012 and * 2013) and a daughter (* 2017).
