The Genghis Hills are up to 1305 m high hill in the East Antarctic Coats Land . In the Shackleton Range they tower south of the Fuchs Dome and 6 km west of the Stephenson Bastion .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1967 by the United States Navy . The British Antarctic Survey conducted surveys between 1968 and 1971. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 after the British geodesist Graham Keith "Genghis" Wright (* 1944), who was involved in the surveys between 1969 and 1970 and worked from 1968 to 1971 at Halley Station .
