Geoffrey Wallinger

Sir Geoffrey Arnold Wallinger CBE , KCMG ( 1903 - July 5, 1979 ) was a British diplomat . He served as British High Commissioner in occupied post-war Austria and as British Ambassador to the Republic of Austria. He also worked as an ambassador to the Kingdom of Hungary , the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Brazil .

Since 1926 in the diplomatic service Wallinger began his career in Cairo and Vienna.

family

He married Stella Irena Zilliacus on June 6, 1958. She was the daughter of Konni Zilliacus , a Finnish politician and journalist.
