Geosynthetic
Geosynthetics are generally in the geotechnical employed plastics in the form of non-woven fabrics , fabrics , grids , or composites , which are made entirely or in essential parts made of polymer materials.
The main tasks of geosynthetics are: separating , draining , filtering , reinforcing , protecting , sealing , erosion protection and packaging .
Geosynthetics in the form of fleeces, fabrics and composites are called geotextiles .
Geosynthetics can be broken down as follows:
- Water-permeable products:
- Geotextiles, nonwovens, fabrics, composites, geogrids
- Waterproof products:
- Geomembranes (allg.) For waterproofing of buildings , roof sealing , joint sealing ; Plastic sheeting; Pond liners .
