Composite

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Composites as packaging material are materials made of at least two different materials that are fully connected to one another and cannot easily be separated by hand. They are a subgroup of the layer composite materials and thus the composite materials . Packages produced therefrom are composite packaging or composite packaging mentioned.

A typical composite packaging is the beverage carton . It consists of cardboard and the plastic polyethylene and can also contain a layer of aluminum for longer-lasting products such as juices . Other common packaging made of composite materials are butter wrappers (aluminum / paper), plastic-coated cardboard boxes for frozen food or bags for instant soups (aluminum / plastic).

In Germany, the dual system collects licensed composite packaging (“ yellow sack ”) with the “Green Dot” . In Switzerland, Aldi Suisse has set up a (bring) collection system in all branches.
