Geometry of Love is the 15th studio album by French musician Jean-Michel Jarre . It was published by Warner Music .
Specialty
Geometry of Love was commissioned by Jean-Roch for the VIP Room nightclub and was originally supposed to appear in a limited edition of 2,000 copies. Accordingly, the album cover was labeled "Project by Jarre for vip room". Although the album went on sale, it was initially not re-pressed. Therefore it was only used or available as a download for many years. In September 2018, the album was put back on the market by Sony Music. Five of the tracks were re-released in 2006 in a different order on the compilation album Sublime Mix . This was also a limited commissioned work; this time for Jaguar .
"Velvet Road" is a revision of the unreleased title "Children of Space", which was previously only performed at the 2001 "Rendez-Vous in Space" concert in Okinawa .
The album shows on the cover the pixelated pubic area of the French actress Isabelle Adjani , to whom Jarre was briefly engaged. In this context, the track Near Djania is also dedicated to Adjani as an anagram .
