Geoquest is a publisher that specializes in the publication of climbing books and guides . It was founded in 2003 and 2004 by Gerald Krug and is based in Halle (Saale) .
history
Gerald Krug initially began to draw and collect route topos by self-publishing . In 2003 and 2004 the Geoquest publishing house was founded in Halle (Saale). At the beginning he was to be found in Talstraße, in 2011 the move to the Kletterthalia, located in the old town of Halle . In the following years, the number of publications increased, and the climbing textbooks published by the publishing house "Die 4. Dimension", "Hexen & Exen" and "Kinderkopf & Affenfaust" are known throughout Germany.
The Publisher
The publisher publishes climbing textbooks and guides. These are also filled with humor, anecdotes and lots of photographs. The climbing community has a large share in the work of the publisher.
