Korean Americans ( English. Korean Americans ) are citizens of the United States of Korean descent.

Demographics

According to the 2010 United States Census , 1.4 million Korean Americans lived in the United States. The main settlement areas of Korean Americans are the Greater Los Angeles Area (334,329) and the New York Metropolitan Area (218,764). The English term Koreatown , also known colloquially as K-town, describes a Korean ethnic enclave in a large city. Many Korean children have also been adopted by Americans.
