Tim Kang
Yla Timothy "Tim" Kang (born March 19, 1973 in San Francisco , California ) is an American actor . He was best known for the role of Kimball Cho in the television series The Mentalist .
Life
Tim Kang is of Korean descent and was born the eldest of three sons. He grew up in San Francisco. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley . He then received his Master of Fine Arts from Harvard University . Then Kang studied acting in Russia at the Moscow Art Theater School . He appeared mainly in supporting roles in films and television series, he had a major role in 2008 in the film John Rambo . From 2008 to 2015 he played a leading role in the CBS series The Mentalist .
Kang has a daughter (* 2009) and lives in Los Angeles .
