Several old photographs of Munich architecture from the mid-19th century by Georg Böttger have been preserved, including several stereo photographs .
On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the city, he made a series of eleven photographs from the tower of St. Peter's Church in 1858 , which he put together to form a 35 × 448 cm 360 ° panorama.
Many of Georg Böttger's photos have come down to us from Karl Valentin's photo collection .
