Georg Carolides von Karlsberg (in Czech Jiří Carolides also Georgius Carolides a Carlsperga, Jiri Carolides z Karlsperka, Georg von Karlsperk ) (born April 11, 1569 in Prague ; † October 21, 1612 there ), was a Czech humanist and poet.

From 1569 to 1612 he was a legal scholar and court poet in Prague, which he never left but was still known across the borders. He came from a respected, wealthy family, studied at Prague University , graduated as a master of fine arts and taught there briefly.

He then moved to the New Town of Prague (Nové Město) and wrote poems and epigrams for the imperial court of Rudolf II . Because of his performance, he was then ennobled.
