Georg Cornelius Freundorfner (born April 17, 1951 in Bad Waldsee ) is a German wood sculptor , organizer of art festivals and cultural ambassador. He creates sculptures of people and animals from the wood of trees felled by storm ( storm wood ) in his Salem homeland.

Artistic imprint

Grandfather and father taught him the techniques of carving as a child. He is inspired by his connection with the environment. He reduced his sculptures to the universally applicable and included the horizontal wood grain in his figurative rounded representations.
