Georg Franck

Georg Franck (* 1946 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German architect , urban planner and software developer .

After studying philosophy, architecture and economics in Munich, he did a doctorate in economics. From 1974 to 1993 he was a freelance architect and developer of software for spatial planning, and from 1991 entrepreneur in the development of spatial information systems . Since 1994 he has been professor for IT-based methods in architecture and spatial planning at the Vienna University of Technology .

Franck published publications on the role of digital media in architecture and spatial planning, the dynamics of spatial processes and the philosophy of time.
