Georg Gante
Georg Gante (born June 15, 1859 in Bielefeld ; †?) Was a German mining captain .
Life
After training in hard coal mining near Bochum , Gante attended the University of Göttingen and then continued his studies in Berlin . During his studies in Göttingen he became a member of the Brunsviga fraternity in 1879 . He embarked on a Prussian civil service career and had various positions before moving to Anhalt in 1902 . Here he became chairman of the Anhalt mine directorate Leopoldshall . At the same time he had been on the supervisory board of the German Potash Indicate since 1910 , where he was most recently deputy chairman.
On October 1, 1924, he resigned from the public service as miner captain and retired.
