Georg Girisch
Georg Girisch (born August 20, 1941 in Speinshart ) is a German politician ( CSU ).
education and profession
After attending elementary school , Girisch completed an apprenticeship as a baker from 1956 to 1958 . After taking his master baker's exam in 1961, he started his own business in 1962.
Georg Girisch has been married since 1963 and has five children.
Political party
Girisch has been a member of the CSU since 1961. From 1970 to 1998 he was the federal constituency manager in Weiden. Since 1991 he has been managing director of the CSU district association Upper Palatinate and since 2001 chairman of the CSU district association Weiden .
MP
Girisch was a member of the district assembly of the Upper Palatinate administrative district from 1978 to 1994 , of which he was vice-president from 1990 to 1994. From 1990 to 1996 he was also a member of the Weiden city council .
From 1998 to 2005 Girisch was a member of the German Bundestag . He always moved into the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the Weiden constituency . Most recently, he received 59.2% of the first votes in the 2002 Bundestag election in constituency 236 (Weiden) .
