Georg Glaw

Georg Glaw (born June 16, 1913 , † June 14, 1940 in France ) was a German hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance .

In 1934 Glaw was Gaumeister over both hurdles. At the European Athletics Championships in Paris in 1938 , he was fourth. After a third place in 1937 over 110 m hurdles, he succeeded as German champion in the national championships in 1938 over the longer distance. He set his personal best of 52.0 s on July 9, 1939 in Berlin . Glaw started for VfL 96 Halle .

Glaw died as a soldier in France in 1940.
