Georg Hansen (sociologist)
Georg Hansen (born April 15, 1944 ) is a German sociologist .
Life
He studied sociology, history, political science and geography at the universities of Tübingen , Bochum and Tours . After receiving his doctorate in 1973 from the University of Bochum as Dr. rer. soc. and habilitation at the PH Dortmund in 1977 he taught as a professor at the University of Münster from 1978 to 1989 and from 1989 to 2009 as a professor for intercultural education at the FernUniversität Hagen .
His work focuses on intercultural studies, in particular historical research on minority education.
