Georg Otto Hillmar (born October 10, 1876 in Berlin ; † December 12, 1911 there ) was a German gymnast .
successes
Georg Hillmar took part in the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens for Germany after he slipped into the selection as a substitute shortly before the team left for the injured Richard Gadebusch. In the team disciplines in gymnastics , he took part with the German gymnastics team on the horizontal bar and parallel bars and won gold with them. He also competed in the individual disciplines of high bar, parallel bars, horse jump and pommel horse, but without winning a medal.
