Georg Jung (politician, 1870)

Georg Jung (born July 17, 1870 in Eschhofen , † January 18, 1922 in Rüsselsheim ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD Hessen ) and former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

family

Georg Jung was the son of Jakob Jung and his wife Anna Margarethe, née Ries. Georg Jung, who was a Catholic denomination, was married to Luise, née Gütlich.

education and profession

Georg Jung did an apprenticeship as a locksmith after attending primary school in Eschhofen, was a journeyman locksmith until 1903 and then an independent master locksmith in Rüsselsheim.

politics

Georg Jung was a member of the municipal council from 1903 to 1922 and was deputy mayor of Rüsselsheim from 1917 to 1922. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the state parliament.
