Georg Scholl

Georg Scholl (born October 7, 1919 in Bad Oberdorf ; † July 13, 1990 in Bad Hindelang ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Scholl did an apprenticeship at the Sparkasse in Sonthofen , then worked in the Reich Labor Service and in military service and was an American prisoner of war. After his release in 1945 he took over a grocery store. He was politically active from 1954, when he was first elected to the Hindelang Market Council. From 1960 to 1984 he was also mayor of this municipality on a voluntary basis. At the same time he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1966 to 1978 , always directly elected in the Sonthofen constituency .
