Georg Steinmeyer

Heinrich Georg Wilhelm Steinmeyer (born February 15, 1816 in Oesdorf ; † December 9, 1888 there ) was a German civil servant and politician .

Steinmeyer became clerk in Pyrmont in 1834. In 1850 he became a bailiff at the district court and in 1852 a district clerk. In 1855 he was appointed administrator of the salt works and the salt works bathhouse. In 1882 he was appointed accountant and retired.

From 1849 to 1850 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the XIV constituency. From 1852 to 1854 and from 1884 to 1887 (now for the constituency of Pyrmont) he was again a member of the state parliament. He was also a member of the special state parliament for the Principality of Pyrmont from 1849 to 1850 and from 1853 to 1854 .

Steinmeyer married Henriette Wilhelmine Christiane Schlingmann on December 26, 1837 in Oesdorf. On November 4, 1841, he married Emilie Christine Louise Gropengießer from Einbeck in Oesdorf.
