Georg Trapp (* around 1920) was an Austrian jazz and entertainment musician ( tenor saxophone , clarinet ) and band leader .

Live and act

Trapp came from Austria and in the early 1940s played woodwind instruments in Berlin with Heinz Wehner , on whose recordings for Telefunken he participated; In early 1942 he was a member of Erhard Bauschke's soloist orchestra . On February 6, 1943, Trapp's only recordings were made under his own name; He played with the singer Kary Barnet for Odeon the tracks “A day in heaven”, “Please write a few words”, “Emil was my ideal” and “I'm in love all day”. His studio orchestra included a. Theo Ferstl (trumpet), Willy Berking (trombone), Leo Kripper (saxophone), Franz Mück (piano), Leo Eggenberger (guitar).
