Georg Wehrung (born July 7, 1856 in Drulingen ; † after 1918) was a farmer, mayor and member of the second chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine for the Alsatian Progressive Party .

Georg Wehrung attended the Evangelical Lutheran elementary school and the Ecole professional Loritz in Nancy and served as a one-year volunteer . After that he lived as a farmer in Ottweiler .

Georg Wehrung had been a councilor since 1896 and mayor of Ottweiler since 1898. Since 1990 he has been a member of the indigenous district assembly and a member of the state committee for two sessions. He was the deputy chairman of the agricultural district association Zabern II.

In the first (and only) election to the state parliament, he ran in the constituency of Saarunion-Drulingen as the center's candidate. In the first ballot, 4,088 votes were cast in the constituency of the 6,732 eligible voters. Georg Wehrung received 2,871 votes and the Social Democrats van den Berg 766 votes. Georg Wehrung was a member of the state parliament until 1918.
