Georg von Rapp (born November 2, 1818 in Annweiler ; † November 27, 1886 in Stuttgart ) was the personal physician of Queen Olga of Württemberg .

After studying in Erlangen and Würzburg and as an assistant doctor in Würzburg, he continued his education at clinics in Paris from 1847–1949 with government support. From 1851 to 1854 he was a professor at the University of Tübingen as the successor to Carl Reinhold August Wunderlich . But in 1854 he was removed from his position by the Ministry of Churches and Schools because he was felt to be intolerable with his turn to homeopathy . In the same year he took up the position of senior medical officer in Rottweil , which he held until his appointment as personal physician to Her Majesty Queen Olga in 1882. Rapp also worked as a homeopathic doctor in Rottweil , who produced his own prescribed medicines. There, too, this led to complaints from local pharmacists. He therefore asked for the exemption from carrying out the pharmacy visits, which he was not granted. In 1886 he was ennobled.
