George Adam (born June 8, 1969 in Paisley ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party (SNP).

Life

Adam lived in Paisley his entire life. Before his election to the Scottish Parliament , he worked as a sales manager at various automotive groups. He lives in Paisley with his wife.

Political career

In 2007 Adam made his first political appearance when he was elected to the Renfrewshire Regional Council for a district in the Paisley South district . In the 2011 parliamentary elections , Adam ran for the first time to national elections. In his constituency of Paisley , he won the direct mandate in front of the Labor Party candidate and thus moved into the Scottish Parliament for the first time.
