George Cooper Healey (born December 12, 1892 in Newark , New Jersey , † December 9, 1943 in Sawtelle , California ) was an American actor from the silent film era .

Life

From 1911 to 1940, Cooper played numerous roles in both silent and sound films. His best-known roles include Pete in Mary Stevens, MD , Fuzzy in Rose-Marie, and Hap Spissel in Love's Fairground .

In 1915 he married Edwina, with whom he had four children. His son George Cooper (1920-2015) was also an actor.

Cooper died three days before his 51st birthday.
