George Price Highway
The George Price Highway (until 2012 Western Highway ) is one of the four major highways in Belize, Central America .
It begins in Belize City and heads west to the border with Guatemala . In addition to the capital Belmopan , the George Price Highway also passes through the towns of Hattieville , San Ignacio and, in the far west, Benque Viejo del Carmen . The highway is around 130 kilometers long, paved throughout and has two lanes.
