The Southern Highway is one of the four major highways in Belize, Central America .

It begins at the confluence of the Hummingbird Highway at Dangriga and leads to Punta Gorda , from where there is no further road connection. The Southern Highway is paved up to about 50 kilometers from Punta Gorda and runs in the first part east of the mountain range of the Maya Mountains . The Cockscomb Wildlife Reserve and the Mayan ruins of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit are located on the Southern Highway .

The travel time from Dangriga to Punta Gorda is around four hours.
