George Rodney, 10th Baron Rodney
George Brydges Rodney, 10th Baron Rodney (born January 3, 1953 , † February 13, 2011 ) was a British nobleman and politician.
Life
He was the son of John Francis Rodney, 9th Baron Rodney (1920-1992) and his wife Régine d'Opdorp († 2003).
He attended Eton College and inherited his father in 1992 on his death on October 13, 1992 as the 10th Baron Rodney , of Rodney Stoke in the County of Somerset . He also became a member of the House of Lords , to which he was a member until the House of Lords Act 1999 came into force on November 11, 1999.
From his marriage to Jane Blakeney in 1996, he had a son, John George Brydges Rodney (* 1999), who inherited him as the 11th Baron Rodney on his death on February 13, 2011.
