George Stevens Junior

George Stevens Junior (born April 3, 1932 in Los Angeles , California) is an American film producer , screenwriter and founding member and director of the American Film Institute . In the run-up to the 2013 Oscars , Stevens was awarded an honorary Oscar for his life's work on December 1, 2012 and is also highly decorated.

biography

George Cooper Stevens Junior is the only son of filmmaker George Stevens and his first wife, actress Yvonne Stevens .

On July 5, 1965, Stevens married Elizabeth Polk Guest and the couple have two children.
