George Tremblay
George Tremblay (born January 14, 1911 in Ottawa , † June 14, 1982 in Tijuana ) was an American composer.
Tremblaey was initially a student of his father Amédée Tremblay . In 1929 he moved to the USA, where he studied with Arnold Schönberg from 1936, and remained with Arnold Schönberg until his death. In 1965 he founded a school in Los Angeles to research and develop new serial techniques. He composed a. a. three symphonies, a serenade and an epithalamium for wind instruments, strings, piano and percussion , chamber music works, several piano sonatas and a double bass sonata.
