George Ulrich von Lettow

George Ulrich von Lettow , also Georg Ulrich von Lettow , (* 1714 in Pomerania ; † January 1, 1792 in Natelfitz ) was a Prussian manor owner and district administrator of the Greifenberg district .

Life

He came from the Pomeranian noble family von Lettow . His father George Heinrich von Lettow (1668-1732) was a doctor of theology and consistorial counselor . His mother Elisabeth Juliane (1690–1754) was born from Versen .

George Ulrich von Lettow studied from 1734 at the Brandenburg University of Frankfurt .

In 1739 he was elected as the successor to the late Ernst Ludwig von Voigt to the district administrator of the Greifenberg district. In 1755 he was given the title of Privy Councilor . After his death in 1792 Adam von Grape succeeded him in the office of district administrator of the Greifenberg district.

From 1738 he owned the Natelfitz manor , initially together with a cousin, from 1773 then alone. He also owned part of Wendisch Pribbernow .

George Ulrich von Lettow was married to Eleonore Sophie (1717–1748), born von Kameke , for the first time. After her death he married Beate Catharine (1719–1802), a born von Schmiedeberg and widowed von der Osten .
