George Waring Stebbins
George Waring Stebbins (born June 16, 1869 in Albion / New York , † February 21, 1930 in New York City ) was an American organist and composer.
The son of the church musician and composer George Cole Stebbins studied in New York with Huntington Woodman and in Paris with Alexandre Guilmant . From 1893 he worked as an organist in Brooklyn a. a. at Emmanuel Baptist Church and Plymouth Church . In addition to organ works, he also composed a number of choral movements.
