George Wilberforce Kakoma
George Wilberforce Kakoma (also George William Kakoma ; * 1925 in the Masaka district , † April 8, 2012 in Kampala ) was a Ugandan musician. The national anthem of Uganda, Oh Uganda, Land of Beauty was composed by him.
He graduated from Trinity College of Music in London and Durham University .
For his most important work, the national anthem of Uganda, he is said to never have received any payment.
