Georges Dargaud (born April 27, 1911 in Paris , † July 18, 1990 in Paris) was a French publisher who founded and led the comic book publisher Dargaud . The publisher was best known for the comic magazine Pilote, which was taken over in 1960, and the Asterix stories published there .
