Georges Delerue Award
The Georges Delerue Award , also Prix Georges Delerue , is a prize for the best film music that has been presented annually since 1985 during the Film Fest Gent .
The prize is endowed with 10,000 euros (as of 2016) and an additional 15,000 euros for the media campaign. Prize winners include a. Benny Andersson , Carter Burwell , Bruno Coulais , Ry Cooder , Tony Gatlif , Vladimír Godár , Johnny Jewel , Ahrin Mishan , Rachel Portman , Dan Romer, Howard Shore , Vangelis , Stephen Warbeck .
The award is named after the French film composer Georges Delerue .
