Georges Wassmer

Georges Wassmer (born February 2, 1927 - † October 5, 2014 in Thônex ) was a Swiss table tennis player . In the 1950s he took part in four world championships.

Georges Wassmer was twice Swiss champion , in 1953 in doubles with Hugo Urchetti and in 1957 in mixed with Alice Grandchamp .

Wassmer was nominated four times in the period from 1950 to 1954 for participation in world championships , where he finished fifth with the Swiss team in 1950 .
