Georgios Stamatopoulos
Georgios Stamatopoulos ( Greek Γεώργιος Σταματόπουλος , * 1963 in Athens ) is a Greek artist and engraver at the Greek National Bank of the 20th and 21st centuries. The coins he designed bear his initials “ΓΣ” or “ΣTAM”.
Life
Georgios Stamatopoulos designed the backs of all eight Greek euro coins and some other Greek special coins. He also designed two of the European Community editions.
