Ger Soepenberg
Gerrit-Jan Soepenberg (born May 1, 1983 , † July 8, 2014 ) was a Dutch cyclist .
Ger Soepenberg started his career in 2003 with the Dutch cycling team Löwik Meubelen . In his second year he won the Omloop van de Alblasserwaard . For the 2006 season he moved to Fondas-P3Transfer , where he won De Drie Zustersteden . At the beginning of 2007 Soepenberg won two stages of the Tour of Siam and came third once. In the 2009-2010 season he drove for the KrolStonE Continental Team .
In July 2006, Soepenberg was warned about doping with salbutamol . In 2010 he ended his cycling career and became a carpenter. On July 8, 2014, he died from cardiac arrest .
