Gerald Schmickl

Gerald Schmickl (* 1961 ) is an Austrian novelist and journalist.

The leading editor of the Wiener Zeitung studied philosophy and sociology at the University of Vienna (Master's degree) and has been publishing the "Extra", the feature section of the Wiener Zeitung founded by Thomas Pluch , for years together with Hermann Schlösser . Schmickl has also emerged as a novelist and non-fiction author.
