Geraldino Brazil
Geraldo Lopes Ferreira , better known under his pseudonym Geraldino Brasil (* 1926 in Atalaia (Alagoas) , † 1996 in Recife ), was a Brazilian lawyer and writer .
Brazil was the "Federal Prosecutor of Brazil" ( procurador federal da República ); from 1951 he lived in Recife and turned to poetry. He found his readers especially in Spanish-speaking South America, where his works were mainly published (especially Colombia ).
