Geral Vega
Geralee Vega Morales (born July 22, 1986 in USA ) is an American-Puerto Rican weightlifter .
Career
Vega started her career for Puerto Rico at the beginning of her career. She reached fourth place in the class up to 58 kg at the Pan American Championships. In 2006 she finished 19th at the World Championships . At the Pan American Championships in 2008 she won the silver medal. In the same year she took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing, where she was ninth. In 2009 she won silver again at the Pan American Championships. At the Pan American Championships in 2010 she was fifth. In 2011 she took part in the Pan American Games , but was banned for doping with methylhexanamine and banned for one year.
After her suspension, Vega competed for the United States and finished seventh at the 2013 World Championships in the 63kg class. In 2014 she won the silver medal at the Pan American Championships.
