Gerard Habib (born September 7, 1980 ) is a former South African ice hockey player who played mainly for the Johannesburg Scorpions in the Gauteng Province Hockey League .

Career

Gerard Habib began his career with the team Blades , for which he played in one of the regional leagues, the winners of which play the South African national championship. From 2004 until his retirement in 2013 he played for the Johannesburg Scorpions .

International

Habib was initially on the ice at the U20-D World Cup for South Africa in 2000 . With the men's national team , he took part in the world championships in Division II in 2004 and 2009 and in Division III in 2008 .
