Gerardo Vacarezza (born August 16, 1965 in Santiago de Chile ) is a former Chilean tennis player .

Life

Vacarezza was able to win two individual titles on the ATP Challenger Tour during his career . He reached his highest ranking in the tennis world rankings in 1988 with position 165 in singles and 1986 with position 282 in doubles, after he had stood at the side of Roberto Argüello in the quarter-finals of the ATP tournament in Buenos Aires .

Vacarezza played three singles and three doubles games for the Chilean Davis Cup team between 1986 and 1991 . He could only win one of his singles, in doubles he won two games alongside Hans Gildemeister .
