Gerd-Rüdiger Kück

Gerd-Rüdiger Kück (born April 10, 1953 in Bremen ) is a German civil servant and was a State Councilor ( SPD ) of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

education and profession

Kück completed an apprenticeship for the middle and upper administrative service of the city of Bremen. This was followed by activities in the administration of the Senator for Finance of the State of Bremen. In 1980, Kück moved to the administration of the University of Bremen . In 1991 he became Chancellor of the University of Bremen. From December 13, 2012 to July 14, 2015, Kück was State Councilor to the Senator for Education and Science Eva Quante-Brandt (SPD). After redesigning the departments as a result of the 2015 general election, he was State Councilor with the Senator for Science, Health and Consumer Protection Quante-Brandt from 2015 to 2019.

Kück is a member of the SPD. Since 1975 he has been a member of the Walle Advisory Board . Kück was spokesman for the Walle Advisory Board from 1983 to December 2012. In December 2012, he joined the Senator for Education and Science as State Councilor.

Further memberships

As a State Councilor, he is a member of the supervisory bodies of the real estate company Klinikum Bremen-Mitte and the Hanse Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft .
