Gerd Achterberg
Gerd Achterberg (born December 4, 1940 ) is a former German soccer player and soccer coach who worked exclusively in Berlin .
career
As a player, Achterberg was only active at the amateur club Spandauer BC . As a coach, however, he was under contract with eight clubs, including seven amateur teams. His only club in the professional camp was Tennis Borussia Berlin , whose first team he took over for the 1984/85 season in the third division. A year later, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . After only three wins from the first twelve games of the 1985/86 season , Achterberg was replaced by Eckhard Krautzun . At the end of the season, TeBe was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga.
