Gerd Brockmann

Gerd Brockmann (* 23 January 1951 in Hamburg ) is a German politician of the SPD and administrative officer . He was mayor of Wedel from 1993 to 1999 .

Life

Brockmann studied after high school economics and a doctorate in this subject. From 1981 to 1989 he worked in Wolfsburg's city ​​administration as a financial adviser, managing director of a municipal limited liability company and head of the office for urban development planning, then he worked as an alderman and city treasurer in the city of Sankt Augustin , before becoming mayor of the city in June 1993 Wedel was. Brockmann said in retrospect in 2006 that his chair had been sawed in Wedel from day one.
