Gerd Edinger
Gerd Edinger (born August 11, 1951 in Sensweiler im Hunsrück) is a German artist who lives freelance in Düsseldorf .
Since 1978 the painter and sculptor has presented his works in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East. In work cycles, Edinger reflects on the being, where from and where to of people in various degrees of abstraction using modern materials and techniques. His works are installed in numerous prominent company headquarters, whereby the archaic representation of people is often contrasted with modern materials, thus showing the tension between people and technology in the information society.
