Gerd Laudert

Gerd Laudert (* 1954 in Oberdiebach near Bacharach on the Middle Rhine ; family name 1981–2010: Laudert-Ruhm) is a German curative educator , elementary school teacher and non-fiction author .

life and work

As a primary school teacher in Lower Saxony since 1983, Laudert has published three professional non-fiction books on theological and religious pedagogical topics: Basic knowledge of the historical Jesus of Nazareth h (1996 and 2002) and a plea for reform of religious education in Germany (2009). On a website set up in 2012, he spoke out in favor of an ethical and religious studies regular subject (compulsory subject) in primary schools.

Two book publications (2000 and 2005) deal with personal experiences (death / loss of partner, dealing with grief).

Gerd Laudert has been publishing since 2014, also due to his membership in a regional history association (Bacharach / Viertäler), mainly on regional, literary and political-contemporary historical topics. There are more recent publications on Heinrich Heine and Karl Marx .

In 2019 Laudert's biography about the doctor and journalist Joseph Schölmerich (1913–1995) was published.
