Gerdas Babarskas (born February 14, 1994 in Kaunas , Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian handball player .

Career

Born in Lithuania, he began his career with the Lithuanian second division team LKKA Teledema before moving to HC Granitas Kaunas in the first division in 2010. From the 2012/13 season the back player was committed by the UHK Krems , but played mostly in the under 20 competition in his first season. In 2013/14 and 2014/15 Babarskas played for the Wachau exclusively in the Handball League Austria . From the 2015/16 season the right-hander played for SG BBM Bietigheim in the 2nd handball Bundesliga . In summer 2018 he moved to the French first division side Chambéry Savoie HB .

Personal

His brother Povilas Babarskas is also a handball player and is currently under contract with Bregenz Handball .
